BACK2THEFRESH (EX) The NFL has made an executive decision to banish the name “Redskins” and its NFL logo. I’ll tell you what. As being 1/2 Mohawk 1/2 Italian, I feel triumphant. After 87yrs it’s gone. The Native Americans are “Red”. Imagine if NFL teams were named, “Blackskins, Whiteskins, Yellowskins, or Brownskins”? I mean, I personally would like to see an alternative Native American Logo and name on an NFL helmet, because it invokes power, tradition, and foundation.
