How do they explain me living in Norway with my ex fiance for about 6 months, and then @bankofamerica closes my account in America when I was in a unique situation?

I initially opened up a checking account at the American Bank “Bank Of America” to complete a film. I opened the account up in maybe about the 2nd quarter of 2013 just before I departed from America to Europe. I moved to Norway with my ex fiance for 6 months from July to roughly December. The European scene is totally different from America. My American phone did not work in European territory so that meant that I couldn’t talk to any of my contacts on my own phone. I had gotten a new European number but it wasn’t the same as my American phone. And I didn’t know Norwegian.

I ended up in a few unique situations where as though I was the only American around and some people wasn’t to fond of that idea because I was in European territory. And to top it all off, a member of my family in America had passed away and I couldn’t make it back in time all because “Bank Of America” thought it was a pretty good idea to close my account, even though I personally emailed them about 3-4 times to let them know about my unique situation abroad.

Now I know that banks are in the business of “OPM”. They hold “other peoples money” and then lend other peoples money out for a percentage in the form of loans, mortgages, etc. So they basically play the middleman or negotiator.

How come “Bank Of America” didn’t have any sympathy for an American customer. How can you possibly call yourself “Bank Of America” and cut the cord on an American customer in sometimes life and death situations abroad?

“Bank Of America” closed my account and sent it into their recovery department in Missouri. I spoke with Janae Cooley, and Joey Marshall, who were both kind by the way at 3pm est February 11th 2014. I called to speak with a manager or someone who could explain to me why my account was closed when I was abroad? The heads of their departments where in a meeting. So I will try back in an hour.
