100 tornado’s, earthquakes in places in the U.S where they don’t normally strike, and Super Storm (S)he (A)int (N)o (D)amn (Y)anky should be enough proof for people to realize that the earth needs to be “protected” now. People shouldn’t wait until the heads of nations come together at some meeting to start playing their part. Do it now because enough damage has been done. It’s estimated that it will cost $50 billion to completely restore the east coast.

The European Union has already come up with a plan that surpasses the Kyoto Protocol. I don’t know if something like that is on the U.S’s agenda but I think it should be. Take care of nature and nature will take care of you, it’s that simple. THE PEOPLE shouldn’t need or have to wait for elected leaders to give them the nod on when to start protecting the earth, because the earth doesn’t wait. NATURE can’t be personified because she’s bigger than a person and obviously she has feelings. Protect her and she’ll protect you with shelter, food, water, air, fire and anything else you may need. Hurt her and she’ll do the exact opposite.
