BACK2THEFRESH – Remember when I told you about Rihanna’s new song? Of course you do because I said, “She did it again.” “Diamonds” is number 1 on itunes in (17) countries  from Norway to Columbia. That means that even though some people “may” not understand English, they still feel her music.  Sonically she reins supreme because her accent and seductive tone is still to be matched. I think if Bob Marley were alive today he would love the song and the cover. Diamonds sprinkled across a thin sheet of paper resembles marijuana sprinkled across a fresh dutch or top paper. But I bring Bob Marley up because he rules the digital charts in (17) of 22 markets. I think Rihanna can eventually do that. If there is any woman today who comes close to Bobby I’d say that it would have to be Rihanna.
