Men In Black 3 becomes the 13th movie in history to surpass the billion mark at box offices. I asked a buddy of mines cinematographer Joseph Nasto on March 3rd did he think last years 3 movies that made a billion at the box offices could be matched this year, and he said “yes with the right directors releasing their films at the right time it can happen again” when I did Q&A with him. I kind of had a hunch 3 more movies would surpass the mark again this year, thats why I asked the question. But the movies that surpassed the billion dollar mark this year matching last years three are Men In Black 3, The Avengers, and George Lucas’s Star Wars First Chapter.
