It’s impossible to judge an individual on what other people say about them. Especially when it’s gossip and rumors. I’ve been doing music since I was a kid so I’m a little more seasoned than many other artist who jumped into it later in life. My passion for film came when I was in high school and fashion came after. But even though I’m a little younger than a lot of people in the business, I’m still fully aware of the tactics that are used against rivals. My business sense helped to give me the vision to recognize it in its early stages and it’s a dirty game.

So if you’re coming up, don’t be discouraged by others not wanting  to help you. Just move along because it will be more beneficial in the long run. Especially if the people you would like to help won’t listen to your advice. My advice for that situation is to sever ties with that person/or people. Because if you do manage to become successful at what you do, these are the same people who will try to kick your back in. And these are the same people who may be used as pawns to undermine you in order to manipulate a situation. They’ll be the easiest ones “pawns” to manipulate because they may feel some resentment towards you because you’ve made progress without them, even though you may have asked for their help. And they can be anyone: friends, family, associates etc. And pawns can be in any profession or position in life.

So remember: Your vision is only your vision until you associate with those who have the same scope.
