The world has changed subtly but surely in the last 5-6 years, perhaps longer.

There are the disenfranchised, the poor, the middle class, the rich and the very wealthy.
The first two are focused on survival, the ones in the middle are struggling to keep things together, the merely rich are greedy and the very wealthy are hell-bent on giving their money away to philanthropic causes.

Why is then the world we live in getting more unjust, more turbulant and unstable?
Why the anti-capitalist rallies, the anti-banking marches, the student riots, the anti-austerity sit-ins?

The once democratic, wealthy, vibrant and progressive West seems to be coming apart and as social contracts between governments and citizens are being dismantled, everyone’s feeling the pinch.
