Anyone who really knows me, knows that I’m a runner. I’m not really too fond of running in cities (flat land). I’m more of a trail runner. Running around nature is better for me. It makes me feel better. I usually wear gloves when I’m running up hills or around cliffs, because you never know when you might slide. I’ve come close to falling off of a few cliffs but luckily I had trees to grab on. I favor running on trails and in nature because I can function without limitation. The air I breathe is better, the thrill is raised, and I just feel free. Some people only like to run on tracks or on treadmills but I prefer the wild because to me it’s safer. “If it isn’t wild, I don’t trust it”. This photo of runner Mike Foote is a perfect
example of what I mean. This happens to be one of National Geographics Extreme Photos Of The Week . He’s running in the French Alps without restrictions. He’s running near a cliff but falling isn’t on his mind because I’m sure he’s done it a thousand times before. This kind of running makes you fearless. And after your use to fearless running, every other kind of running is not as exciting. So if you’re a runner try trail running atleast once to see how you like it. I guarantee that you won’t regret it.
