It’s raining and lightening outside today and I’m sitting here going through some beats. Listening to the different sounds trying to find the right one. When I find that right sound, that right beat, I’ll usually listen to it for about 3 hours or so. I’ll completely learn the beat like it’s a song. I mean really learn the beat. Every snare, every drum, and every sound in order to lay the perfect words down at the right time. Some producers make fearless beats. Meaning that they are not afraid to experiment with sound. I love those bold and beautiful sounds because that’s my style but I’ll listen to others. I’m musically inclined and I just can’t record a song over just any beat (trashy beats). The only thing that’ll do is make me sound less than I am. The only thing that’ll do is depreciate my value like a car depreciates 30%  as soon as it’s driven off of the lot #KnowWhatIMean? I’m not saying I’m picky, I’m just saying that I “appreciate” music with a passion. But I have to get back to going through these beats. Talk to you sooner than later.
