Stratford continues to stand by native son Justin Bieber, despite his recent high-profile run-ins with the law.

“No matter what happens, it doesn’t negate the fact that Justin is from Stratford,” said Mayor Dan Mathieson Thursday, a day after Bieber turned himself into Toronto police in connection with the alleged assault of a limo driver.
